Provider Referral Form

What To Do When You Detect Signs Or Symptoms Of Autism In Patients

The relationship between a family and their child’s healthcare team can be very special. With scheduled attention to developmental milestones and age-recommended well-checks, these interactions are primed to detect autism and other delays early.

If you are a medical provider or therapist of any kind who serves children from birth to when they begin kindergarten and either observe or learn about signs or symptoms that could fit the criteria for autism, please help the family get answers fast by referring them for a diagnostic evaluation.

Not sure? Find answers here, The Early Signs of Autism.

As long as you have discussed your recommendation with the family, please complete the provider referral form.  We’ll reach out and begin the process with them. Our process is supportive and allows parents to fully explore this quest for answers that could help open doors and give access to life-changing therapies such as ABA, speech and occupational therapy.

The wait time for an autism diagnosis in the DC region can be up to two years. We provide families with answers in a matter of months so they spend less time wondering and more time getting their children the help they need at such a critical age. Our program is full-time, but we are equipped to discuss options found in most communities such as therapy done in-home, part-time or through the child’s local public school. Our goal is to make sure parents know all options available so they can commit to the program that works best for their dynamic.

Creating A Complete Early Intervention Treatment Program

ABA therapy for autism is a child-centered service and involves close communication between
team members and the families of the children served.

How Much Does ABA Therapy Cost?

Virtually all private health insurance plans cover ABA therapy. Our team will work with you to verify your plan's eligibility and benefits, obtain authorization for services, and answer any questions you may have.  A clear report will always be provided ahead of enrollment to explain deductibles, co-pays and out-of-pocket maximums related to therapies provided at our centers.
