COVERAGE
MADE SIMPLE

Virtually all private health insurance plans cover ABA therapy, and Ally Behavior Centers is in-network with most major providers. We service Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Texas. Your therapy coverage is determined by your individual health-plan.

We're here to make it easy.

We know insurance can feel overwhelming, which is why our team is here to make the process simple and transparent.

1) Before you enroll or seek out a diagnostic evaluation, we’ll verify your plan’s coverage for the services you’re seeking. Then, we’ll compile all the information you need in an easy-to-understand report of your coverage and any associated out of pocket costs. If needed, we’ll happily review this report with you to provide a crystal clear picture of deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket maximums.

2) For added assurance, our team of specialists handles all “pre-authorization” paperwork directly with your insurance company to make certain that your child’s therapy is covered before services begin.

3) From the second your child begins with Ally Behavior Centers, our team handles communication with your insurance provider directly - no need to play the middle man in billing!

If you’re looking for more information, we invite you to fill out our contact form and one of our specialists will reach out directly to walk you through your plan. We’re here to answer all of your questions - our goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way. Let’s take the first step!

COMMON
QUESTIONS

Does insurance cover ABA therapy?

Most private health insurance plans and Medicaid cover ABA therapy to some degree. Our insurance team will verify your benefits and walk you through any expected out-of-pocket costs so you can make informed decisions from the start.

What does "out-of-pocket cost" mean, and what do I pay?

"Out-of-pocket costs" refer to the amount you’re responsible for paying after insurance, including copays (a flat fee per visit), coinsurance (a percentage of the service cost), and your deductible (the amount you pay before insurance begins covering services). Once you reach your maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP) limit for the year, your insurance will cover 100% of eligible care.

How do I pay for any out-of-pocket costs?

We provide families with a monthly update email and digital invoices and several options for settling payment. These invoices generally arrive on the first of every month, and our team is always available for questions!

Does Ally Behavior Centers offer financial assistance?

If your family is experiencing financial hardship, you may qualify for a discounted rate determined by HHS guidelines and total household income. If you believe you may qualify for a payment plan, financial assistance, or both, we will discuss this with you during your initial meetings with our enrollment team.
